Elm level distinction and Chapter Award WinnerThe Triangle Chapter is proud to announce that our Chapter has been awarded the 2025 Fundraising Award by Penn State. In addition, we have been recognized in 2024-2025 as an Elm Level Group of Distinction by the Penn State Alumni Association.
The Fundraising Award is due to the Chapter's efforts to support the United Way of Ashville and Buncombe County in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Through a combination of monetary and physical food donations, the Triangle Chapter donated the equivalent of 2.5 tons of food to our fellow North Carolinians impacted by Hurricane Helene. Chapters named as a “Group of Distinction” have served in several different programmatic categories, including career networking, social interaction, fellowship, supporting students, and leading THON-related activities. This honor includes several benefits to our Chapter, including some financial incentives, but really, it's about being recognized as being one of the leading alumni groups in the nation! Thank you to all of you for helping us reach this level of achievement. It is a testament to the involvement of a very dedicated group of alumni that we have the pleasure of joining here in the Triangle! We Are! |
